The Palms is a stylish bungalow with accommodation all on one level in the heart of Portland in the village of Easton. The sunny garden with tropical palms and conservatory make for an excellent space to relax and plan your days. Walking distance to shops and restaurants means you can ditch the car for the week if you wish. Lots of walks available right from your doorstep with some amazing sea views along the way all of which can be enjoyed with your dogs as The Palms accepts up to two well behaved pets. Explore Tout Quarry Sculpture Park, or even take a sculpture class during the summer, the Portland Museum is about a 5 minute walk away full of local history, visit the Portland Bird Observatory and learn about the bird visitors to the island or relax at Portland Bill with a trip to the lighthouse followed by lunch or a cream tea at the Lobster Pot.
The accommodation at The Palms comprises of a lounge/diner with comfy sofas, TV, CD music system and WiFi enabled throughout with dining table and chairs for four. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The conservatory has comfy chairs and doors leading to the patio and garden beyond. The two bedrooms are arranged as a double and a twin and there is a wet room with shower, basin and toilet and a cloakroom with toilet and basin.
Outside is a pretty garden with patio and lawned area. There is off road parking for one car, with on street parking subject to availability for additional cars. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.
Easton is the main village on the top of the island and as such offers more facilities and options than some of the smaller oultlying villages.Read more
