Weymouth Beach is recognised year after year as being in the top 10 UK beach destinations and it is not hard to see why. It is long, made up of fine golden sands and it shelves gently into the sea making wading out into it nice and easy. The water is clean, there are excellent facilities and safety provisions so that you are able to relax and enjoy your day out. There are beach attractions including Punch and Judy, Childrens Snail Rollercoaster, Bungee Trampoline, Donkey rides and the amazing Sand Modeller. Or why not hop aboard the Seafront Land Train and take a ride along the along the Esplanade running parallel to the beach (operates from Easter to the end of September).
Chalets, deckchairs and sun-lounger, pedaloes and floats are all available to hire and you can even play volleyball, so there's plenty to do besides relaxing and soaking up the sun.
But Weymouth Beach is also much more than that and hopefully the four videos give you a little taster of what you can expect. Weymouth Beach is also the site of many fantastic events held over the year and I will detail just some of them below.
